Air Fryer Parmesan Broccoli
Broccoli responds especially well to the concentrated heat of an air fryer. The small florets catch color at the edges before the stems lose all of their bite, giving you a texture that sits somewhere between roasted and charred.
Parmesan is added for salty, nutty flavor and helps the surface brown a little more. This side is simple enough for a weeknight but has enough texture to stand beside chicken, fish, pasta or a grain-based dinner.
Parmesan Broccoli Needs Space to Brown
- The florets brown at the tips while the stems stay pleasantly firm.
- Parmesan adds savory flavor without needing a heavy sauce.
- It is faster than heating a full oven for a small vegetable side.
- The same method also works with chili flakes, lemon zest or garlic.
