Cottage Cheese Pizza Bowl
A pizza bowl keeps the familiar combination of tomato sauce, melted mozzarella and savory toppings but skips the crust altogether. Cottage cheese forms the creamy base, making the dish substantial enough for lunch while letting the pepperoni, peppers and olives provide the classic pizza flavor.
Use an oven-safe bowl with enough surface area for the cheese to brown. Broil briefly at the end if needed, watching closely so the toppings blister without scorching.
A Pizza Bowl Is Really About Managing Moisture
- It delivers the tomato, mozzarella and pepperoni flavors of pizza without requiring a crust or dough.
- Cottage cheese creates a warm, creamy base that makes the bowl more substantial than a simple snack.
- Individual oven-safe bowls make portioning easy and let everyone adjust the toppings to taste.
- A short bake or air-fry is enough to melt the cheese and soften the vegetables without a long prep.

Notes
Keep the Cottage Cheese Base Thick
Use cottage cheese straight from the container rather than thinning it. The goal is a creamy base that can support marinara and toppings without turning the bowl soupy as it heats.
Choose Toppings That Will Not Water It Down
Bell pepper, olives and turkey pepperoni work because they add texture without releasing much liquid. If you use mushrooms, zucchini or other watery vegetables, cook them first or keep the amount small.
Finish It Hot and Fast
The bowl only needs enough time for the center to heat and the mozzarella to bubble. A short bake or air-fryer finish keeps the cottage cheese creamy instead of baking it until it separates.
