15-Minute Teriyaki Ground Beef Bowl
Ground beef turns into a fast teriyaki-style filling when it is cooked in small crumbles and coated with soy sauce, ginger, garlic and a touch of sweetness. Served over rice with crisp vegetables, it gives you the contrast of a saucy main and fresh toppings in about the time the rice takes to reheat.
Let the beef brown before adding the sauce so it develops more flavor. Simmer only until the liquid lightly coats the meat; reducing it too far can make the soy-based sauce overly salty.
